How to become a school teacher?

How to become a government school teacher in AP? What are the promotions that one can get?

1. After Intermediate you can also do TTC to become a Teacher at primary level.

2.   If you want to become a Government High School Teacher then you should do B.Ed. course. This is a 2 years course. It’s better if you get a good rank clear ED CET, if you want to get into a good institution.

3. After completing it, you can apply for the post. You need to write DSC Exam.

4. The entrance exam to become government teacher is called TET or the Teachers Eligibility Test. This exam is conducted by the education board of each state to recruit teachers for state government funded schools.

5. There is another exam called CTET which means Central Teachers Eligibility Test which is conducted for job in central government schools.

6. If you improve your qualifications by doing Post Graduation you can become a Junior Lecturer.

7. Later if you complete Ph.D. or NET or SET you can become a Lecturer in Degree College.

8. There are fair chances to become Principal if you get into the job at an early age.
